Man behind the Joker outed

Turns out that we were giving Alex Jones too much credit. The kid behind the infamous Obama Joker image has finally surfaced.

Here are the two pieces of the article I liked best:

“Perhaps the strongest case for anyone, McSherry said, is for Alkhateeb to claim money derived from people selling T-shirts with his picture. Is it worth pursuing? “It would be nice, but it’s not that big of a deal,” Alkhateeb said.”

Regardless, Alkhateeb does agree with the Obama “Hope” artist about “socialism” being the wrong caption for the Joker image. “It really doesn’t make any sense to me at all,” he said. “To accuse him of being a socialist is really … immature. First of all, who said being a socialist is evil?”

Wouldn’t it be nice for someone to sue good ole ‘immature’ Alex for a change?

On a serious note (ha! I kill me!) the last line of that quote there is a bit scary. Who said being socialist is evil? I agree, socialism on it’s face isn’t an evil thing. On paper, it sounds just fine really. However, it’s been proved time and time again that the people in charge are never so altruistic to make it work. Whoever is in charge has always let the power corrupt and that ruins any system of rule. America was supposed to be different in that the people would be in charge and be able to change the leaders if they became corrupted.

Well, we all see how that turned out right?
